There is hope. We are not done. This administration will not end of our grand experiment. There have always been those eager to sacrifice the good of the many for their own profit and they have always gone down to defeat and ignominy. We will reclaim our nation and its ideals. Our principles are stronger than this administration. There is hope and there is work to do.
The Golden Globes actually helped me thinking about this. Aside from Oprah for President, it was good to remember that art wins because art is a kind of love that sustains and leads us.
I won't respond to every tweet or pronouncement from this administration and the entirety of the complicit national Republican party, but I'll continue to help raise our children, teach writing and reading, and create art. In other words, I'll keep up the resistance.
