Trying To Miss Out

I read this week about making my phone more boring so as to use it less and have made the change to this:

The whole thing is in black and white. Pictures look terrible. Video is worse. The buttons look unappealing. And I love it. I've been writing and being with people today. At a party earlier this afternoon, I got my phone out, saw the greyscale and thought, "I'd rather interact with people in living color." 

I'm not saying my life has changed or that I'll keep my phone in grey scale, but this is a good start. And now I'm learning about JOMO, the joy of missing out, which seems an idea worth trying.
